*WINNER OF STATE OF TEXAS RECYCLING CONTEST!
My designs won the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling contest! Lamar Outdoor Advertising showcased them on billboards across Texas in November 2023, and the enamel pin featuring my Texas recycling logo was given to 200 legislators.
Creating these was a fantastic chance to give back to the state I called home for 3 years. I delved into the process after exploring TexasRecyclesDay.org, crafting visuals like a cowboy, boot, and longhorn from recycled paper to connect with passersby on the road. The logo, a Texas outline with recycling arrows, and the phrase "Keep Texas beautiful" further captured the Texan pride in their state, cowboys, cattle, and boots.
These billboards reflected that pride and aimed to make recycling in Texas even more significant. Grateful for the opportunity from TCU Graphic Design and the recognition from the State of Texas Recycling Alliance!
