Completed for a Father's Day present, this book jacket encapsulates the wonderful adventure that is Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. The novel brings you along a timeline from 8 pm to 12 am with the fate of Rome on the line, inspiring the cover design's main theme to be the passage of time. It does so with sand in the shape of the Roman skyline sifting through an hourglass with Robert Langdon peering upward, acknowledging the problem that has become his own to conquer. And as the viewer flips the book cover from the front to the back, the color palette shifts from day to night.
